The Hideaway Chair, a cozy and comforting design by Daniel Kamp and James McNab for childcare company New Shoots.

Daniel Kamp and James McNab of the Auckland, New Zealand based product design studio Think & Shift were approached by childcare company New Shoots to design a chair that provides children a cozy and comforting feel of enclosure in the childcare centres.
Think & Shift designed a chair that provide a space for children to get away from the noisy environment, a space where children feel safe and secure. Made with natural materials and a sustainable approach, the Hideaway Chair was required to be aesthetically on brand, safe, comfortable, and user friendly for children.
